Dr Medha Tankhiwale Kothari
Dr. Medha topped her ICSE board in Class Ten before going on to secure top ranks through medical college, her M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and a Gold Medal at MBBS level. She trained further in minimally invasive surgery under Dr. Hafeez Rahman and Dr. Nikita Trehan at Sunrise Hospital, Delhi, and completed a Masters in Assisted Reproductive Technology in the UK.
Today she practices as a consulting gynaecologist, laparoscopic surgeon and fertility specialist across several Mumbai hospitals, alongside directing Her Clinic. Couples facing infertility, in particular, find a doctor who listens closely, explains conditions in plain terms, and works through the emotional weight of the journey alongside the medicine.
She has presented papers at MOGS annual conferences on breastfeeding, perinatal outcomes and endometriosis, won the Dr. Ashok Mehra Prize for best endoscopy paper, and published on recurrent pregnancy loss, preterm birth and teenage contraception.
